Did you ever notice those wonderful medallions embedded in the ground along Denver’s 17th St., south of Union Station?
It’s the Wall Street of the Rockies honor walk, one of Denver’s overlooked treasures. AND you benefit from helping build this historic app. All supporters will be given advertising incentives in exchange for your tax-deductible donation to the development of this historic app. The strength of your donation will be reflected in the benefits you receive: donate a little, be on the website…donate a lot and you can have splash ads, games or social media celebrating your brand. And, because we’re nonprofit seeking money for a history app, your donation is tax deductible.
Here’s what we want to do:
The Wall Street of the Rockies app and website will be an effective way to help create a new destination attraction in Downtown Denver. There are around 37 in-ground medallions lining 17th Street, just
waiting for an app and website to tell their century-old tales about Wall Street of the Rockies. Recognizing the history that exists will help invigorate the neighborhood as a walking district. Our goal is to put the Wall Street of the Rockies Honor Walk on a must-see list of things to do in the Mile High City via our new app and website.
Here’s why it needs to be done:

found a special way for cities to share their folklore – welcome to the ‘Honor Walk” from Walk of Fame International. Walk of Fame International partners with local governments to commemorate and enhance the key elements and people in a city’s history. Our business plan invigorates cities’ promenade districts by recognizing a city’s unique elements and sharing them in a way that creates a memorable local experience.

Here’s our budget for this project:
We’re looking to raise $25,000 for the initial phase of app development and content research. Crazy as it may seem, there is minimal information online about the Wall Street of the Rockies…so footwork needs to be done. Many thanks to the Denver Arts & Venue Division of the City & County for their guidance in uncovering WSOTR’s hidden history. In all, we anticipating needing around $45,000 to get the app out to the public.

Our business plan invigorates cities’ promenade districts while raising funds that can be used for a variety of ventures, including city improvement projects. Tribute concepts may unite many diverse subjects. Honor Walks can include any combination of entertainment figures, sports stars, entrepreneurs, artists, business achievements, industry, technology innovations, community heroes, historic moments, noteworthy architecture, local government and creative accomplishments, among other ideas. An Honor Walk is the kind of project people gravitate towards, whether they are business partners or tourists. Open 24 hours a day, the Honor Walk’s potential for ancillary marketing and merchandising streams are unlimited,
and these possibilities are very exciting. Each medallion and each ceremony offers sponsorship, licensing, merchandising and branding opportunities that shall extend the value and reach of the city’s Honor Walk and Walk of Fame International. Major corporations are eager to share in the excitement and fun of our project. The International Walk of Fame Honor Walk celebrates your city’s history. It stimulates pedestrian districts and raises funds for city improvement projects. It’s a free, fun tourist attraction that will bring smiles to peoples’ faces. It’s the kind of project that provides something for everyone involved. Meet our team: The Walk of Fame International team is a group of accomplished professionals who are enthusiastic about the idea of sharing local art, heritage and history and making urban trails a 21st century treasure. The Wall Street of the Rockies App will be built by our
accomplished programming team at Digital Shake. They have created location-based apps and games for Ohio State University, the Olive Garden, Grey Advertising, BBDO, Advertizing,

Content will be supervised by Jodi Summers and Andy Secher.
Secher is an accomplished businessman who built his empire during his 30 years’ experience in the music industry. During his tenure, he did everything from writing and editing some of the era’s most successful rock & roll magazines to running his own record label, Titanium, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records. He also served as Executive Producer for two nationally syndicated rock-oriented TV shows, writing scripts, directing and appearing on camera.
Currently he is a Field Associate in Paleontology with the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

An honors graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, Summers began her career as the photo editor for Hit Parader magazine – America’s leading heavy metal magazine. She then had the offer to move to Los Angeles to work with infamous publisher Larry Flynt in founding the rock magazine RIP. She was also editor of RockBeat magazine.
Summers thrived as an entrepreneur in the entertainment, media and marketing and real estate industries. She has had three books published by Allworth Press – “The Interactive Music Handbook,” “Making and Marketing Music” and “Moving up in the Music Business.” “Making and Marketing Music” is in second edition.
